Team Luton Club Records are only available in the members part of the website and include:

Legacy Records from Former Clubs

In order to preserve the records achieved by swimmers at both Lewsey Centre and Luton Swimming Clubs, final sets of records have been stored on the Team Luton website.  These are referred to as "Final Lewsey Centre Swimming Club Records " and "Final Luton Swimming Club Records " and incorporate records achieved at any competition up to 30 April 2010.

Team Luton Club Records

From 1st May 2010 Team Luton Club Records have been formed by merging (as far as possible) the records from the two former clubs to form a new set of records.

From 1st October 2010 a new category of club records has been created to record times achieved by relay teams.  

As with individual records,

• Only times from competitions held under ASA Laws and Technical Regulations are eligible.
• Times must have been recorded either by Automated Officiating Equipment (AOE) or as the average from at least two timekeepers.

Differently to individual records, swimmers will not need to jointly or individually submit claims for relay records, as by definition they will have been achieved representing the club. The age groups used in the records will be those used for the competition, regardless of the actual age of the swimmers in the relay team. The relay team records can be found in the Club Records document.

Claiming a Club Record

It is the responsibility of the swimmer to claim a record; the club will not scrutinise results from competitions to see whether any records have been broken.  The rules for claiming club records are set out on the claim form.  To claim a record, please complete the slip with details of your claim and submit it to the Club Secretary or Parent Liaison Officer.  Claims will be verified before being accepted.
