The Committee is overall management of the club including its administration and governance. All of the committee members are volunteers who work hard to ensure the smooth running of the club.
The structure and functioning of the Committee is set out in the club’s Constitution.
Members of the Committee are elected at the AGM and have specific responsibilities.
The Executive Committee is comprised of the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer:
- Chair: Glenda Mayes
- Vice Chair: Alastair Gibb
- Secretary: Lindsay Wright
- Treasurer: Alison Calvert
The remainder of the Committee comprises of the following Elected Members:
- Alison Davidson (SwimMark co-ordinator)
- Fiona Walmsley (Meet Promoter)
- Marion Mason (Membership Secretary)
The full committee meets monthly and these meetings are also attended by the Head Coach and also by the Welfare Officer (Jennifer Juggins). The Executive Committee meets separately on a more frequent basis.
